From first sketch
to final installation.
We’re a family of trained artists devoted to making beautiful furniture and cabinetry and designing wonderful spaces, for homes and businesses alike. Established in 1983.
Your ideas.
Our hands.
A kitchen shaped around your needs. A piece of furniture made for your space. A room that brings new ideas and familiar pieces together.
We listen to your ideas, draw the designs, and build and install the work ourselves.
Functional art for every room in your home.
Whether your style is traditional, contemporary, or somewhere in between, we start with your ideas and your budget and help you picture the result. Then we design, build, and install it from start to finish.
Retail, hospitality, and office spaces.
A workplace has a real effect on how people feel and perform, so we design spaces that are comfortable, inviting, and easy to work in. Offices, conference rooms, kitchens, dining areas, theatres, and lobbies are a few of the spaces we’ve transformed.
Function and durability matter as much as style, so we take every need into account and plan for what’s ahead. We work with virtually every material, from wood and metal to glass, acrylic, stone, laminates, and fabric.

See it before it’s built.
We listen to what you have in mind and draw it out by hand so you can see the piece before anything is made. Then we build it, deliver it, and install it ourselves.
What clients say
“He has a gift for design which makes his furniture interesting and practical at the same time.”
“We appreciated Gérard's eye for the big picture while attending to every small detail.”
“He is an artist, a furniture builder, a cabinet maker. He can take an idea and create beauty.”
A family business since 1983.
Gérard Pierre was born and raised in France and trained as an artist at Ecole des Beaux Arts before turning that training to one-of-a-kind furniture. He founded CBF by Pierre in 1983.
His sons, Jonathon and Michael, are carrying the family business forward, bringing new styles, products, and technologies to the timeless craft of woodworking. Together they work in wood, metal, stone, glass, fabric, and more.
Whether you’re a homeowner, designer, architect, or builder, we listen first and work to bring your vision to life rather than impose our own.
